Merry Christmas!

The tradition continued . . . . Grandma Leila's house for dinner, pinata, and games!

One of the best gifts this year was skyping with Elder Chatfield!

Weekend Trip

Aaron and I were able to get away for a quick weekend trip to Monterey.  Aaron had another work training, so I was able to tag along and enjoy the beach, beautiful weather, and a cozy fire!

Road Trip

Who wants to take a road trip in November--WE DO!
It was BEAUTIFUL!
Although the ride home was also beautiful, it took us a lot longer to make it home--chains required!

Temple Square

I have always wanted to see the Christmas lights at Temple Square.  We finally got the chance.  Although there were CROWDS of people, it was worth it!
MAGICAL!

Thanksgiving 2016

For the first time, our family went away for Thanksgiving.  We made the trek out to Utah to have Thanksgiving dinner with the Carlsons!  We had a lot of fun seeing Hayden in a school play, cooking our Thanksgiving meal, playing games with the cousins, taking a train ride to Salt Lake City, and hanging out together!

November

Here's a quick recap of November:

Grandpa Rick Retired!
(To help him celebrate we all pitched in and bought him a BIG SCREEN TV!)
Caroline turned 3!
We harvested grapefruit!
The weather was still nice for picnics at the park!

I love our trees in the fall!

Happy Fall!

I'm glad Kiana still likes to have fun!
Aaron and I were able to take a couple days this month and go visit Monterey.  We stayed at the Asilomar Conference Center where Aaron was having some work training courses.  It's always wonderful to take a little break from life and enjoy some time at the beach--which is "health to the soul" for me!

Elder Wasden

We were lucky enough to welcome Elder Baily Wasden home from his mission.
Elder Wasden was able to serve the people in Merida, Mexico.
It was so fun to see his smiling face!
Mission Accomplished!

Aunt Kate

October was extra fun this year, because my Sister Kathryn came to California for a visit.  She was able to bring her sidekick (Ty) with her.  It was fun having her stay with us.  We were able to visit, talk, go shopping, and she even made her famous guacamole for us to enjoy!  Please come see us again!

Temple Trip

On Friday night, the Sutter Buttes Youth had a Temple Night.
It's wonderful to get the youth together to do baptisms for those who have passed on.  Tonight was extra special for me because I helped my grandmother, Eva Joe Damuth, be temple ready and Kiana was able to be baptized for her.  It was WONDERFUL! Thank you, Kiana for helping my grandmother (your Great-grandmother) be baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Idaho

Once again, I had the opportunity to drive with Andrea to BYU Idaho.  Actually this time, she drove me since she was taking her new car with her.  It was a great time to visit temples, talk, eat, go shopping and see her new place.
Andrea now lives in a house with 9 other girls!
But she has a laundry room and 2 two living areas where she can relax with friends.
Senior Year of College!

Scripture Reading

Elder Chatfield (AKA Seth), asked for a family picture of us reading The Book of Mormon.
I guess we were a little goofy this night, because every picture had some crazy faces, but we had a great time!  See, reading the scriptures can be fun!

Fifteen!

Kiana turned 15!
Andrea and Caroline made her a chocolate candy bar cake--it was delicious!

We also took her out to Chili's for dinner.
A week before school started, I took Kiana and her friends Lexie & Hailey shopping in Roseville.

Family Visit

Before the summer was over, we went down to the Parrott's houseboat for some fun in the water and a great visit with family.  Heather and her crew came out for a visit from Utah.  It was great to get the cousins together and enjoy the last days of summer!

1 Year Mark

WOW, time flies!
Elder Seth Chatfield has now been serving in the Mesa, Arizon mission for a whole year.  He has been working hard and enjoying his time serving the people of Mesa.  I'm sure more success will continue as he embarks on his second year of service.
Keep up the great work Seth!

Smile

After a 1 & 1/2 year, Kiana got her braces off--what a beautiful smile!

Summer in July

July was another busy and fun month for us.
ATV rides, finding Batman, free slurpees on 7/11, and a quick trip to San Fran for Aaron & I.
It looks like it's wearing some of us out!
Kiana was able to attend her first Stake Youth Conference.  They bused the youth to a camp near the coast for several days.  Her favorite park of the experience was the climbing wall activity.  Andrea was also able to go and be a youth counselor.  Both girls had a great time!

Lefebvre Reunion Day 4

Our last day together, we enjoyed lunch and swimming at 5 Mile Park in Chico and then we headed to Paradise for a family dinner.
We loved being together and hanging out at Grandma & Grandpas house!
Sisters!
