Anniversary Trip

Monterey, CA

Aaron and I were able to get away for a couple of days and celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We had been to Monterey before, but we loved going back and seeing our favorite places and eating yummy food.  In addition, we were able to visit Point Pinos lighthouse and also drive along the scenic route down 17-mile drive.  The ocean views were amazing! 

The coast is our happy place!

2017 Temple Trips

Sacramento Temple

This was our first time to attend General Conference in Salt Lake City at the conference center.

We were able to attend the Saturday morning session together as a family.

The company was great, we saw lots of friends, and the speakers were amazing!

We definitely want to do this again.

 

New Job

Seth is keeping himself busy before heading off to college.  He now has a job working for a tree trimming company.  It's a lot of hot, tiring, dirty work, but Seth always seems to find the fun in things

Clear Lake, CA

We finally had everyone home and decided it was time for a family vacation all together.

We decided to rent a house on Clear Lake and spend a couple of days.

We were able to do lots of fun things, but most of all we loved just hanging out together by the lake.

We were so proud and happy for Andrea's accomplishment.  It was great to have the grandparents join us for the event.  We love our new college graduate!

July 4th!

The family got together for the 4th of July.  Sparklers and fireworks went off!  Along with lots of smiles, dancing to the lights and enjoying being together.

Weekend in San Francisco

We were able to finally take our "after tax season" trip the last weekend in June. Kiana invited Ella and we spent a couple of days in San Francisco.  Of course we stopped at the beach to enjoy the sand and waves.  The water was cold, but it always recharges my soul! 

We also stopped by Pier 39 and ate some yummy food, hiked to the top of the Coit tower, 

and played at the Exporitorium for FREE.  

I'm so glad we were able to take a little break and enjoy a couple of summer days!

June 2017

In June we celebrated Father's Day, hung out with family & friends, and had a wonderful visit with the Carlson Clan!

We all went to Young Women's Camp this year!

Kiana was a 5th level this year and was able to do the ROPES course.

Aaron helped at camp all week as a CAMP DAD.

I was asked to be one of the 6th Level Leaders.

We all had a GREAT time!
